Concept To Creation

From an idea at mind to a full fledged in life product within the homes of health enthusiasts and passionate natural herbal remedy lovers. Thrive Natural was a project of challenges that had to be overcome with design initiative and creative solutions. From the launch, Thrive Natural required a lot of attention to detail, love and passion. The idea of a herbal remedy competing against many other products already similar to it, but with one big difference, that difference was the fact thrive Natural sold a product that had 11 ingredients of which are known to be super ingredients worldwide. This USP was the focal point of all marketing and branding. So, labelling, print assets, event assets, pitching presentations and brochures as well as SEO all required this one vital selling point.

Being the sole designer within a small passionate group of individuals, bringing Thrive Natural to life and online required, Graphic design, UI/UX, storyboarding and effective communication.

Ancient Remedies Perfected Over A Millenia

It all starts with an idea,

but most importantly, effective communication. Taking the idea of Thrive Natural through a briefing, the brand first needed a handmade and loving feeling, something created with care to express the stake holders deep passion and empathy towards peoples health. This is where typeface and calligraphy became a big part of firstly getting the logo and the brands typeface correct.

Print – old is gold.

Next, came the planning and execution of the label that would be the biggest selling point for the brand, as this is what would be seen on shelves in stores and at events when pitching the brand to consumers at pop-up stalls and markets.

3D, bringing ideas to life.

Thereafter was the process of rendering the proposed jars, to gain a visual prospect of what the product would look like.

Words into action.

Once the labelling was complete and the jars were set, the writing style chosen, the language and mood as well as tone of voice was set, the next project was creating a brochure that would be used to pitch to investors.

Action to life.

Furthermore, marketing assets and event assets such as flyers, roller banners and table top material for engagement and interaction.

The Science Behind Thrive Natural’s Label

Whilst creating the label, it was important to take a few things into consideration.

Target Demographic
  • Who would be purchasing the product, what age range, how affluent the audience is and the main USP’s of the product which would be the reason for people buying the product.
Accessibility
  • How easily an it be read? Hierarchal order of text and positioning, size of font and colours were important. Considering these factors made making decisions easier, as all demographics were considered, however the label was created with the intention that it would be accessible to everyone, therefore catering to a wide range of needs.
