Poster: Design & Brief

The brief for this task was to recreate the poster they had planned for the summer campaign but also to utilise the final design of the poster for the mailer that would go with it.

Based on the poster’s design, the task was to see how efficiently designers could use their existing material and create the rest of the assets.

My poster design was designed upon the basis of emphasising the key selling points mentioned in the brief.

Why I Chose To Present This Poster Version
  1. It had the most unique visual, where the headline stood out, and the copy matched the theme of the background I created.
  2. The products were large and visible, the branding can be seen and the badge on the cream was a USP which was distinct.
  3. The body copy was clean and easy to understand, furthermore, it was evenly spaced out and emphasised the selling point which was the ‘free cream’.
  4. The link at the bottom clearly expresses where the offer can be found with no confusion.
  5. In summary, the poster followed the brand guide, language and tone while adhering to the theme and layout of previous posters, which allows for recognisability to customers.

Web Banner: Design & Result

Converting the poster into a banner required compressing the info into a smaller space but still required delivering the information to users, grabbing their attention.

I did this by extracting the copy and placing the prices on the side related to the CTA at the bottom of the banner. This creates an understanding of the banner but also delivers the message.

Due to the use of creating a vector background, it was easy to resize the background and use it for the banner.

Email Marketing: Design & Brief

From the poster I had to create a banner for the website, and then an email design was required.

Utilising the already existing template, I created a mailer that would require minimum effort to fit the existing template and would be recreated from the poster.

I took the background, the copy and the images and just sized it down to fit the dimensions of an email.

I then scanned the website and already existing copy from previous mailers and decided to change the copy slightly, being efficient with time and sticking to brand language.

Sticking to a method called AIDA.

I started by grabbing ATTENTION from the header, mentioning an offer.

Secondly, building INTEREST by displaying the products.

Thirdly, I created a DESIRE by mentioning the offer.

Lastly, I added the call to ACTION, which is ‘Limited Time Offer, Don’t Miss Out’.

Social Media

A few examples of social media posts I created for Instagram as this is the most preferred and chosen channel of social media.
